As part of the joint meetings of the Abidjan and Nairobi Conventions on the
protection, Management and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment of
the West, Central, Southern and Eastern African Regions being held in
Johannesburg, South Africa, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has
the honour to invite you to a press conference by the Executive Director of
UNEP, Mr Achim Steiner and the South African Deputy Minister of Environmental
Affairs and Tourism, Mrs Rejoice Mabudafhasi on Thursday, 8 November 2007 at
11h00 at the Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre, William Nicol Drive, Fourways,
Johannesburg.
