Gauteng Local Government MEC Qedani Dorothy Mahlangu together with Bishop
Paul Verryn of the Central Methodist church will on Saturday 21 March 2009
address the media on the plans to assist foreign nationals residing at the
Methodist church in central Johannesburg.
The media briefing will be attended by representatives from the three
spheres of government and delegates from United Nations Commission for Refugees
and other stakeholders from Non-Governmental Organisations.
The media briefing follows a lengthy meeting held in Johannesburg on
Thursday night between the three spheres of government, UN representatives,
Bishop Verryn and Advocate George Bizos from the legal resource centre.
