The North West MEC for Developmental Local Government and Housing, Phenye
Vilakazi will deliver his annual Budget Vote speech at the North West
Provincial Legislature on Thursday, 10 May 2007, at 9h00.
In his Budget Vote speech Vilakazi will outline progress that the Department
has made in eradicating bucket toilets in some parts of the province ahead of
the deadline, which is end of this year.
Vilakazi will also outline the progress that the Department has made in
delivery of low cost houses for the financial year 2006/07 and plans to take
the housing delivery programme forward.
