P Mlambo-Ngcuka to meet Qwaqwa traditional leaders, 5 Nov

Deputy President to meet with traditional communities of
Qwaqwa

The Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will on Monday, 5 November 2007,
meet with traditional leaders of the Morena e Moholo Mopeli in Phuthaditjhaba,
Qwaqwa in the Free State province.

The visit is part of the broader public outreach programme that was
developed between government and the National House of Traditional Leaders
which aims to engender better relationships between government and traditional
authorities.

This visit is also in the context of promoting the role that traditional
leaders have to play in combating abuse against women and children.
