African National AIDS Council (SANAC) plenary meeting

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka as a Chairperson of SANAC will on
Wednesday, 28 November facilitate the second SANAC plenary meeting since its
restructuring and its adoption of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) on HIV and
AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) 2007 to 2011 at Emperors
Palace, Kempton Park.
The meeting will receive reports from various sectors of SANAC on the
implementation plan in support of the NSP; it will also receive a report on the
World AIDS Day preparations. The last SANAC meeting was held on 10 September,
2007.
