Connexion's Learnership Programme

Pretoria: Deputy President Mlambo-Ngcuka will, on Friday 31 August 2007
attend the Launch of the Business Connexion's Learnership Programme, at Melrose
Arch, in Johannesburg, at 10h00.
The programme talks directly to Deputy President Mlambo-Ngcuka's AsgiSA plan
and her appeal to the different institutions, to address the challenge of
skills shortage in the country.
The Deputy President's presence at this launch will emphasise the
government's call on ICT companies to support schools in the area of
Information Technology and to train students and unemployed graduates in the
process.
Business Connexion in partnership with different tertiary institutions,
established a Memorandum of Understanding, with the aim to address issues of
skills development among graduates in South Africa.
