Business Personality of the Year Awards

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will speak at the Business
Personality of the Year Awards tonight, Wednesday, 8 November 2006 at Mount
Nelson Hotel, Cape Town.
These awards, introduced in 1978 to recognise innovation among Cape-based
business personalities who set examples to others by their achievements, are
divided into three categories: the Main Award, the Judges' Award and the
Editors' Award.
The Editors' Award, introduced in 1996, looks at the achievements in smaller
businesses and is given to an emerging business that shows entrepreneurial
excellence.
