President Kgalema Motlanthe has, as a mark of respect to the late Minister
of Communications Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri, instructed that the national flag
fly at half-mast at every flag station in the country from tomorrow, Wednesday,
8 April 2009 until the evening of the burial.
The late minister will be accorded official funeral and will be laid to her
final resting place on Monday, 13 April 2009 in Kroonstad in the Free State
province.
Dr Matsepe-Casaburri passed away on Monday 6 April 2009, at Kloof hospital
in Pretoria. She was admitted on 17 March 2009.
