District Municipality (Mpumalanga province) and Ekurhuleni Metropolitan

The Minister of Education, Mrs Naledi Pandor, accompanied by the senior
departmental officials, will on Monday, 19 February 2007, pay surprise visits
to schools in Nkangala District Municipality (Mpumalanga province) and
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (Gauteng province).
The purpose of the Minister's visits is to assess the state of delivery of
Learner Teacher Support Materials (LTSMs).
Journalists interested in being part of the Minister's entourage are
requested to gather at the N12 Delmas turn off on Route (R50) at 09h00.
The Minister and her entourage will address the media at the end of their
visit to the last school in Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality at about
13h00.
