N Pandor to launch sod turning ceremony for new schools, 2 Feb

The Minister of Education, Naledi Pandor will deliver a keynote address at
the function.

ArcelorMittal’s donation amounts to R250 million and will run over seven
years. Each province will receive a new school (Eastern Cape – two),
comprising classrooms, administration centre, library, laboratory, ablution
facilities, water, electricity, fencing and furniture.

Venue: Mamelodi Primary School, Hector Peterson St, Mamelodi East
Time: 10h00

Other dignitaries expected to attend the occasion are Gauteng Education MEC,
Angie Motshekga and the City of Tshwane’s Executive Mayor, Gwen Ramokgopa.
