to take the Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) Campaign to KwaDabeka
Hostel
13 March 2007
The MEC for Health in KwaZulu-Natal, Ms Neliswa Nkonyeni, in partnership
with uKhozi FM invites you to the Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT)
campaign at KK Hostel (KwaDabeka) on Friday, 16 March 2007. The theme of the
campaign is: "Knowledge is Power: Know Your Status!" The campaign is an
important weapon in the fight against HIV and AIDS. People are encouraged to
get tested and know their status. The service will be free at the venue.
Prominent members of the community are expected to lead by example and get
tested.
Two weeks ago, the MEC and African National Congress (ANC) Deputy President
Jacob Zuma led by example at Inkandla by taking the vital step and got tested
in public. The media is invited to the campaign at KwaDabeka to witness uKhozi
FM DJs, musicians, political and community leaders being tested. The artists
