regulations out for public comment

The Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Marthinus van Schalkwyk
has today, 17 September 2007 published in the Government Gazette, the draft
Alien and Invasive Species regulations for public comment in terms of Section
100 of the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act.
Members of the public as well as all interested and affected parties have
until 15 October 2007 to submit their written comments to the Director-General
at the following address:
