Tshabalala-Msimang to launch Women's Justice and Empowerment Initiative (WJEI),
the South African victim support component of WJEI 11,7 million dollar
initiative

Members of the media are invited to cover the launch of the initiative to
provide protection to survivors of sexual violence and abuse. The minister will
deliver the speech to mark the launch, as follows:

Representatives of the United States (US) Government, United States Agency
for International Development (USAID), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF),
RTI International and officials from the National Prosecution Authority (NPA)
Advocate Thoko Majokweni and Advocate Mokotedi Mpshe, will also attend the
event.
The Honourable Dr Manto Tshabalala-Msimang will address the guests in her
capacity as the Minister in the Presidency responsible for issues of gender,
women, children and youth.
