Development Perspective

Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa and the MEC for Finance and Economic
Affairs, Paul Mashatile will launch the Gauteng Spatial Development Perspective
(GSDP) on Thursday, 14 June 2007.
The GSDP will serve as a tool to give both government and private
institutions broad perspectives regarding economic opportunities, poverty
concentration, underdevelopment and public and private infrastructure
development within different municipalities in the Gauteng province.
It will further open up doors for the provincial government, business and
municipalities to agree on how identified challenges can be tackled in order to
accelerate economic growth.
