You are invited to attend a media briefing on the launch of the National
Industrial Policy Framework and Action Plan (NIPF), that will be addressed by
the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Mandisi Mpahlwa as follows:

The NIPF, which sets out government's broad approach to industrialisation
and industrial policy, was adopted by Cabinet at its January 2007 Lekgotla.
After this approval, Cabinet requested the dti to develop an action plan. The
plan was presented and approved at the July 2007 Cabinet Lekgotla.
