The University of Venda, Career Exhibition and Information Association in
partnership with Vhembe Region Curriculum Development and Support Services will
host a careers exhibition sponsored by Bestmed Medical Aid Scheme at the
University Auditorium from Monday, 7 May 2007 to Friday, 11 May 2007, starting
at 08h00. Grade 12 learners will have the opportunity to see what career
opportunities are available. The team of exhibitors includes universities,
universities of technology, technical colleges, colleges, private sector,
parastatals and government departments.
To ensure maximum information sharing, schools in specific areas are invited
on specific days. On Monday, 7 May are schools in Soutpansberg and Hlanganani,
Tuesday, 8 May schools from Malamulele, Wednesday, 9 May schools from Mutale
and Vuwani, Thursday, 10 May schools from Thohoyandou and on Friday, 11 May
schools from Sekgoesese and Hlanganani. This is an annual event where in last
year 22 570 learners from 285 schools visited the exhibition.
