Top Compensation Fund officials suspended

Four senior officials of the Department of Labour's Compensation Fund were
today, Wednesday, suspended with immediate effect, following an investigation
into irregularities within the Fund, the Labour Ministry has announced.
Spokesperson Zolisa Sigabi said the officials were suspended with full pay.
Sigabi assured members of the public that the day to day operations of the Fund
and public service delivery would not be affected by the developments.
