The Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs, Minister Lulu Xingwana, in her
capacity as a Trustee for the Royal Bafokeng Nation, signed a transaction
empowering this community to enter into a lucrative deal with Implats, making
them business partners in the mining of minerals.
This momentous occasion was attended by King Leruo Molotlhegi who co-signed
the transaction with the Minister to further empower this progressive
people.
"This empowerment deal will benefit the majority of the Bafokeng Community
and contribute towards job creation and poverty alleviation," the Minister
stated.
