The Minister for Agriculture and Land Affairs, Honourable Lulama Xingwana
humbly invites members of the media to the launch of Ilema / Letsema project to
be held at Falaza High School in Osuthu, KwaNongoma in KwaZulu-Natal on 20
March 2009. The event starts at 06h30.
The Ilema/Letsema campaign is a government intervention, aimed at
resuscitating the scheme by providing the beneficiaries of the scheme with
irrigation infrastructure, production inputs, and other support services to
ensure that the land goes back to productive use.
The theme of the day will be âWorking together, to increase food production
in rural areas of South Africaâ.
We look forward to your presence, to share information, knowledge and
