Six Makhumbuza educators are suspended with immediate
effect

Six educators from Makhumbuza High School in Umlazi District, who are
implicated in the allegations of sexual harassment of learners at the school,
have been suspended with immediate effect. The department is taking immediate
steps to replace them with temporal educators whilst finalising the
investigation.
The learners concerned are receiving psychological treatment and
support.
