President Kgalema Motlanthe, will on Friday, 27 March 2009, bestow National
Orders on men and women for their prominent contribution to nation building, in
their respective areas, at the Union Building, West Wing, Pretoria.
The occasion follows the unveiling of the names of the recipients of
National orders by the Chancellor of Orders, Rev Frank Chikane. The National
Orders are the highest awards that our country bestows on its citizens and
foreign nationals who have contributed to our nation's attainment of democracy,
building democracy and human rights.
