Khabisi Mosunkutu to table Agriculture annual report

The Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Environment obtained
a clean budget audit for the 2006/07 financial year.
Since assuming stewardship of the department, MEC Khabisi Mosunkutu has
steadily refocused his budgetary allocation towards poverty alleviation, job
creation and building of sustainable communities.
In tabling the annual report in the provincial legislature, Mosunkutu is
expected to talk about the thousands of community food projects created, jobs
created through Bontle ke Botho (BkB), measures taken through BkB to negate
negative climate changes and the role of the Green Scorpions in bringing
culprits to book.
The MEC is also expected to talk about agro-processing initiatives
calculated to contribute toward stimulating economic development.
