K Mosunkutu to open Africa's Big Seven Agriculture Exhibition and Expo,

African agriculture giants in Gauteng to plan future of
sector

The Gauteng MEC for Agriculture, Conservation and Environment, Khabisi
Mosunkutu, will open the annual Africa's Big Seven Agriculture Exhibition and
Expo on Monday, 16 July 2007.

Delegates from more than 31 African countries will gather in Midrand to
discuss agricultural technology and how to further develop the continent's
agricultural sector.

Mosunkutu is expected to talk about the importance of strengthening
continental co-operation in the agricultural sector and how the sector can
further contribute towards bridging the gap between the first world economy and
the second world economy.

The MEC will also reflect on Gauteng's initiatives relating to
agro-processing, biotechnology and the biofuel industry.
