J Radebe to launch South African Police Service (SAPS) Rail Contact

Transport Minister Jeff Radebe will launch the South African Police Service
(SAPS) Rail Contact Point at Durban Station tomorrow morning as part of
improving our rail safety. The media is invited to a train ride with the
Minister and transport officials from KwaMashu Station to Durban Station at
6h30.

Details of the launch are as follows:

The rollout of the SAPS Rail police is aimed at beefing up safety and
security in the railway system.
