Workshops on discussion document on the regulations relating to
unreserved postal services

Independent Communications Authority of South Africa will be hosting
workshops regarding the published discussion document on "Unreserved Postal
Services". The purpose of the workshop is to interact with stakeholders and
encourage a public discussion and participation on the development of the
regulatory framework for unreserved postal services in South Africa.

The discussion document maps out issues relating to the definition of
courier and express services, universal service obligations, ownership and
control, registration fees and infrastructure sharing.
