KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Ina Cronje will open a brand new school in
Esikhawini, Empangeni, tomorrow, 14 March 2007. Ikhandlela School used school
used to operate in two classrooms in the former Esikhawini College of Education
in 1998 with 62 learners and four educators. It has since grown to 1 250
learners and MEC Cronje's visit in 2005 has brought new hope to parents,
learners and teachers when they learnt that they would receive their own school
in the new financial year.
