Due to the National elections that are currently being held in Lesotho, Home
Affairs has taken a decision to extend operational hours at Caledonspoort port
of entry.
The hours have been increased from 6:00am to 12:00pm from today, 16 February
2007 and on Saturday 17 February from 5:00am to 10:00pm in the evening. The
normal working hours are 6:00am to 10:00pm.
Home Affairs believes that this interim arrangement will go a long way to
assist the Lesotho citizens who are residing in South Africa to pass through
Caledonspoort and participate in their national elections.
