Health on Pro Sano Medical Scheme under curatorship

The Department of Health welcomes the decision of His Lordship Mr Justice PB
Fourie to place Pro Sano Medical Scheme under curatorship. This move will
ensure that members of the scheme are protected and are assured of the safety
of their benefits.

The Department also supports the Medical Schemes Council's efforts to ensure
that it carries out its mandate by protecting members of the medical schemes
from any irregularities that may exist in the management of schemes.
