In an effort to eradicate unsafe mud houses that collapse during rainy
seasons, North West MEC for Developmental Local Government and Housing, Howard
Yawa is to launch an R84,6 million housing development project targeted at
eleven villages in Tswaing Local Municipality.
The project launch is scheduled for 14h00 at Phelindaba Community Hall in
Agisanang Extension three near Sannieshof on Thursday 16 April 2009.
The department had allocated over R506 million for the 2008/09 financial
year towards empowerment of women contractors.
