The Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) has noted speculative media reports
about a possible mass resignation of MECs and would like to assure the citizens
of the province that its administration is under no threat of disruption by the
alleged resignations.
"We would like to assure everyone that not a single MEC has indicated an
intention to resign," said GPG spokesperson, Simon Zwane.
"All MECs have made a commitment to continue their work and complete the
programme of action that they have been implementing for the past five years,"
added Zwane.
The GPG reassures all citizens that the administration will remain stable
with all MECs in their posts until the end of the term in order to complete the
five-year mandate and the attainment of Vision 2014.
