A radio discussion on matters around the issuing of title deeds and the
management of tenant / landlord relationships under the umbrella of the Assets
Disposal and Regulation Directorate (ADARDI) will be aired on Thobela FM,
Lesedi FM, Metsweding FM and Ukhozi FM on 21 April 2009.
In the discussions, the department will highlight how many houses have been
transferred between 2004 and 2009 and also demonstrate home ownership is part
of fast-tracking housing delivery in the province, provide guidelines on family
disputes and where the disputes can be lodged.
Title deeds initiative is part of the Housing Department's goal to
facilitate the transfer of public housing stock to long term qualifying
beneficiaries.
