14 February 2006
The Gauteng Clean and Green campaign (Bontle ke Botho) takes another turn
this year with a stakeholder consultation meeting on Thursday, 16 February
2006.
The intention of the meeting is to enable stakeholders to review the 2005
campaign and suggest improvements for the campaign in 2006.
Apart from the 2005 review, the Gauteng Department of Agriculture,
Conservation and Environment will also give a detailed report back on
monitoring and evaluation of the campaign. Stakeholders will have sessions in
commission rooms where they will have discussions on issues around all Bontle
ke Botho themes. Stakeholdersâ inputs and recommendations will then be
incorporated into the 2006 campaign.
Bontle ke Botho means "being beautiful is being human" and promotes the
message that municipalities, schools and communities can create beautiful
environments for people to live in, thus a better quality of life for
all.
The BkB campaign is currently in its fourth year.
