Sport equipment and attire to the total value of R1,8 million will be
distributed to 55 public schools across the Free State. These schools have been
selected to participate in the School Mass Participation Programme (SMPP). The
event at which the sport equipment and attire will officially be handed over to
these schools will be held as follows:

Date: 10 February 2009
Time: 10h00
Venue: Free State Sport Science Institute, President Street, Bloemfontein

The handover of this specific set of equipment and attire follows
immediately after sport equipment and attire were distributed to community
sport clubs on the 24th October 2008. Another set of sport equipment and attire
for schools to the tune of R1,4 million was distributed to 90 schools in the
province during the 2007/08 financial year.
