other social services

Further to the commitments that were made on the occasion of the signing of
the Service Level Agreement between the Department of Social Development (DSD)
and South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) as well as the commitments of
the Budget Vote Speech 2008/2009, the MEC for Social Development, the

(DHA), the South African Police Services (SAPS) have embarked on an outreach
campaign to widen access to grants and other social services to the people of

Department of Home Affairs, the South African Social Security Agency, the South
African Police Services together with the Department of Social Development and
supported by the municipality, all these shall be ensuring that all eligible
