The Free State Comprehensive HIV and AIDS Management invites you to know
your status campaign
Where: Mandoza Car Wash, at Batho-Location: Sports (Next to
Batho-Clinic)
When: 17 November 2007 at 13h00
Why: Not all people are aware of the availability of the VCT (Voluntary
Counselling and Testing of HIV); STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections), PMTCT
(Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV), ART (anti-retroviral
treatment of AIDS) and TB (tuberculosis) services in the Free State province.
The purpose of this campaign is to inform the public about these services, to
reduce the AIDS stigma and to encourage them to test for HIV.
Who and how: Officials and all members of the community are invited to
attend. This information session aims to correct the misconceptions regarding
HIV and AIDS and the management thereof.
Our community needs to know and understand that one can live a full
productive life for many years with HIV.
