Ambassador Norman Mashabane

Pretoria: The Ministry and Department of Foreign Affairs today, Thursday, 11
October 2007, learnt with a sense of sadness and shock of the untimely death of
South Africa's former Ambassador to Indonesia and member of the Limpopo
Provincial Legislature Norman Mashabane.
Accordingly, we join all our people in prayer and thought for his wife,
Maite, the children and the entire Nkoana-Mashabane families during this
difficult time of bereavement. On behalf of the Ministry and Department of
Foreign Affairs, including South Africa's ambassadors and high commissioners
stationed abroad, we extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to members of
the bereaved families.
