The Gauteng Electoral Commission would like to invite members of the media
to a pre-elections press conference. The press conference will focus on the
Gauteng province state of readiness for the National and Provincial Elections.
The state of readiness will reveal amongst others the status on the
distribution of voting material, access to voting stations by the electorates,
election observers and the deployment of election personnel in all the voting
stations and municipal offices across the province. A demonstration of the
results processing system will be conducted to enable the members of the media
to interact with the system at the Results Operation Centre.
The press conference will be held as follows.
