Parliament: The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) will tomorrow brief
Parliament's Portfolio Committee of Home Affairs on the allegations made by the
Inkatha Freedom Party that some of its members were removed from the voters'
roll.
The Commission's delegation will be led by its Chief Executive Officer Pansy
Tlakula. The IEC will also talk about the final voter registration and do a
demonstration on the electronic capturing of the results at various voting
stations.
Members of Parliament will also get a briefing on and ratification of the
agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Africa and the
Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho on the Facilitation of Cross-Border
Movement of citizens of the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdom of
Lesotho.
