with Vodacom invites media to a media breakfast

The Eastern Cape Department of Education in partnership with Vodacom invites
your organisation to a media breakfast to be held in Mthatha on 19 March 2009
at 10h00 to bear witness to the joint project of the nearly complete erection
of Zithulele Primary School, a local school under the jurisdiction of Prince
Maxhwele of the Amazizi people.
It is with unwavering acknowledgement that school infrastructure in the
province has been challenged with backlogs and the joint venture with Vodacom
has been a channel of making a meaningful contribution towards one of the
departmentâs main concerns within the province.
The event marks the decade long existence of the Vodacom foundation and in
accordance celebrates its anniversary.
The foundationâs vision is to give life to the Vodacom groupâs commitment to
explore opportunities available to share the companyâs successes with
communities who have helped achieve them. Its focus is to enhance the quality
of life of vulnerable people with special emphasis on the application of
information and communication technology to address challenges in education,
health and security.

Venue: Zithulele Senior Primary School
Media transportation: transportation will be made available on the day of
the event and will depart from Holiday Inn at 9h00.
