The Deputy Minister of Education, Mr Enver Surty, will give an address at
the launch of the Cadbury Games on 6 February 2007 at 14h32 at Johannesburg
Stadium. The Cadbury Games is a government initiative sponsored by Cadbury. It
is run by NACOC (National Co-ordinating Committee) and SASA (Schools Athletics
South Africa).
The aim of the event is to encourage children to enjoy the benefits of being
active and to reward those with exceptional talent with the opportunity to
fulfil their potential. The games will be run at regional level from March to
June, and the finals will be held in September 2007.
The event will cater for 150 guests, including government, NACOC and SASA
officials, journalists and mentors. Representatives from government, NACOC and
Cadbury will give speeches.

11:30 - 12:30: Media arrive at Southern Sun Grayston Hotel for
registration.
11:45 - 12:30: Bus arrives at hotel to collect media and leaves for
Johannesburg Stadium.
12:00: Bus arrives at Cadbury to collect staff and leaves for Johannesburg
Stadium.
12:30 - 13:00: Guests arrive and register. Cocktail lunch and drinks
served.
