Premier Edna Molewa will tomorrow morning table her office budget in the
North West Legislature. The budget speech is expected to outline the path her
office will take to advance the Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative of
South Africa (ASGISA) which will inexorably create jobs for the people of the
province.
The budget that has been described as an epitome of the province's success
will see capacity building being a critical strategic thrust.
Premier Molewa, whose department is described as the flagship of the North
West province, will outline the budget of the six strategic programmes that
serve in the Office of the Premier.
The budget will also seek to address among others, terms of the multilateral
and international relations that will assist in graduating pacts and memorandum
of understanding that already exist into vehicles of delivery.
The budget will also consolidate the Office of the Premier's role of
strategic leadership in the fight against HIV and Aids. This strategic thrust
will also include leadership of all efforts to achieve unity, reconciliation,
peace, stability and prosperity in the province.
