over funding of rural projects in the North West

North West Premier Edna Molewa will have a late breakfast meeting to among
others discuss the funding by President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief
(Pepfar) of projects and programmes in rural areas with the US Consul General
Mr Andrew Passen, which will be held as follows:

Venue: Tsholofelo Early Learning Centre, Tsetse Village
Time: 15h00
Amongst the projects to be discussed are the home-based care organisations,
homes for orphans and vulnerable children as well as the funding of an
antiretroviral (ARV) clinic and a pre-school in areas such as Taung,
Kgokgojane, Klerksdorp and Mafikeng.
Pepfar is a United States grant to assist community-based projects and
programmes in developing countries and it is administered by the United States
Consulate General in Johannesburg.
