The Sundays River Valley media tour 2007
Against the backdrop of the alleged slow pace of land reform in South Africa,
Dali Matta, Chief Director: Provincial Land Reform office, Eastern Cape,
and
Henk Prinsloo, District Manager: Cacadu District level delivery office,
cordially invite one of your reporters to cover Deputy Minister Dirk du Toit at
the Sundays River Valley media tour, wherein Land Reform projects of the Cacadu
District level delivery office will be showcased.
Date: 16 to 17 August 2007
The tour begins at 16h00 on 16 August 2007 in Port Elizabeth where
journalists will be transported to Kirkwood area for a media briefing at 18h30.
They will be accommodated close by. Those having their own transport are at
liberty to use it.
On the second day, 17 August 2007 at 08h30 they will be taken to three
projects, viz. Watson, Hewitt, and iPintombi. The projects are not far from
each other. They will be able to interact with beneficiaries and other
stakeholders. Lunch will be provided at iPintombi.
A complete tour programme will be forwarded in due course.
