The Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation in partnership
with 4 Basadi Entertainment and Lesedi FM will host an HIV and AIDS, teenage
pregnancy, and alcohol and drugs awareness campaign aimed at dealing with
social problems in communities.
The campaign will attract a host of celebrities in the entertainment
industry who will give motivational talks. Among the celebrities expected are
Presley Chweneyagae and Terry Pheto from the award winning movie Tsotsi, singer
Chomee, entertainer Ashifa Shabba, members of the Muvhango cast and kwaito
artist Tuks Senganga.
The programme for the day will include performances by developmental
artists, motivational talks and a poetry and autograph session.
