The acting KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Regional Commissioner invites you to the
Correctional Services Provincial Karate Tournament as mentioned below. The
stakeholders and the parents of the offenders are invited as well. The local
municipality officials, South African Police Service (SAPS), all other sister
departments are also going to attend. The contestants' divisions will be as
follows:
* under 50 kilograms
* under 60 kilograms
* under 70 kilograms and
* open.
This event will be as follows:
Date: 30 April 2009
Venue: Qalakabusha Correctional Centre Recreation (Sports Complex),
Empangeni
Time: 09h00
You will be allowed to take pictures and interview offenders on their
permission.
Your presence and coverage of the occasion will be highly appreciated as a
contribution in efforts to turn around the country's correctional system into
one of the world's best, improving public safety.
