on licence fees and regulations

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has
published the final licence fees regulations in Government Gazette 32084 dated

The authority has further published a supplementary position paper on
licence fees regulations. The supplementary position paper clarifies some of
the issues raised by interested parties who responded to the draft general
licence fees regulations in addition to the position paper published by the
authority on 6 March 2009.
The regulations are effective from 1 April 2009.
