The Minister of Minerals and Energy, Ms Buyelwa Sonjica (MP) in partnership
with Eskom and PetroSA invites the member of the media to attend hand over
ceremony of schools project.
During the Ministerial visits with other government departments, PetroSA and
Eskom last November 2008, the schools identified their needs which include
renovation of ablution facilities and science laboratories, the building of
prefabricated classrooms and computer laboratories.
PetroSA and Eskom pledged their support by providing schools with
laboratories and assist learners with their science studies. On 20 March 2009,
the Minister will officially handover the schools facilities as mentioned above
contributed by both government department, PetroSA and Eskom. Lungiso High
School, Humansdorp High School, Pelrus Primary School, Vukani Primary
School.
