The shooting of Mr Alan McKenzie

The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Ms Brigitte
Mabandla, MP, has received with shock and sadness the news of the senseless
shooting in Cape Town today of Mr Alan McKenzie, leader of the Department of
Justice and Constitutional Development's Monies-in-Trust project
Minister Mabandla condemns this attack and is confident that the law
enforcement agencies will apprehend the perpetrator(s) responsible for the
shooting. Minister Mabandla wishes the family of Mr McKenzie strength at this
difficult time and wishes him a speedy recovery
