Tomorrow, Gauteng Health MEC, Mr Brian Hlongwa will open the new Dark City
Community Health Care centre in Nkangala, border of Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
The opening of this community health centre (CHC) is a major advancement
from when the facility began rendering its services from a pre-fabricated
container in 1996.
Inherited from Mpumalanga Provincial Department, the Gauteng Department of
Health (GDoH) decided to augment services offered at this centre which will
operate 24 hours daily. The new facility has a maternal obstetric unit as part
of the new upgrades.
