Western Cape Education MEC Donald Grant Grant to handover Personal Computer (PC) tablets to school principals

MEC Donald Grant will be personally delivering the first of over 1 500 PC tablets for school principals to Mrs Booi at Phandulwazi High School in Phillipi. He is then proceeding onto two other schools, Oaklands Secondary and Greenfield Primary School.

In March 2012, MEC Grant announced in his budget speech that each school principal in the Western Cape would receive a PC tablet by the end of the school year. The MEC has kept to his commitment with delivery to all schools to commence on Friday.

The tablets are intended to improve the way in which the Western Cape Education Department communicates with and provides support to our principals.

MEC Grant is personally delivering the first three tablets to schools tomorrow.
